We put out what we would stay up for.

Nocturne started in 2024 as a way to release Sável's first record without asking anyone's permission. It is now nine artists, one mastering desk, and a strict rule: if we would not put it on at 2am ourselves, we do not press it.

We are based in a converted laundry in Marrickville, Sydney. We master quiet, we press short runs, and we pay artists 70/30 in their favour because the maths still works when you keep the lights low.

We are not looking to scale. We are looking to be the label you trust at the exact moment you cannot trust your own taste, somewhere past midnight.
