Sável

Sável (Ana Sável) records alone, mostly between midnight and the first bird. Her records are built from a single hardware sampler, a borrowed Juno, and whatever the room next door is doing through the wall.

She does not play live often. When she does, it is one show, announced four days out, in a room that holds ninety people, and it sells out before the poster is dry.

Half-Light (NOC-014) is her third record for Nocturne and the first she let us master at the volume she actually listens at: very, very quiet.
